OUR STORY

From a small stage to an organisation driving the industry's standards

Every beauty professional's success starts with one thing: an opportunity.

HAB AWARDS began as HAB Thailand (Health and Beauty Thailand), a competition founded in 2022 with a simple intent: give beauty professionals from across the country a place to show what they can do, exchange knowledge, and raise professional standards through competition that is actually rigorous.

Founder คุณศศิธร ฉัตรมงคลลาภ — a specialist beauty educator and the founder of NES Academy — believes competition is not there to decide who is best. It is a stage where everyone discovers their own potential and grows alongside the Thai beauty industry. HAB Thailand grew out of that idea.

Where the change started

The first edition in 2022 drew an overwhelming response: more than 600 participants across these categories:

• Permanent Makeup
• Eyebrow Tattoo
• Eyelashes
• Eyeliner
• Lip Tattoo
• Facial Massage, BBGLOW

That response proved the point: Thailand's beauty industry wanted a stage with real standards, real transparency, and a genuine chance for everyone to show their ability.

Later the same year HAB Thailand expanded to Phuket with over 450 participants, added Bridal Makeup, and opened Master Class sessions led by international specialists to pass on new knowledge, technology and technique.

Growing, year on year

In 2023 HAB Thailand extended into Eyelash Extension, with more than 350 competitors.

In 2024 the competition returned to Bangkok with over 430 participants.

Every year, this stage has produced more than champions. It has built friendships, built networks, and given beauty professionals across the country a way to grow together.

Becoming HAB AWARDS

As the organisation grew and more competitions were added, the organising team made a significant decision: to raise the whole organisation up a level.

In 2026, HAB Thailand became HAB AWARDS — an independent private-sector organisation whose mission is to develop the standard of beauty competition in Thailand and push Thai professionals onto the world stage.

So HAB AWARDS is not merely a new name. It is the starting point of a new standard for the industry.

Because fairness is the heart of competition

We believe every winner should win on genuine ability.

So HAB AWARDS invested in a new scoring system, built on a website platform designed specifically for it. The system makes assessment accurate, transparent and auditable, and reduces error in judging.

It is another decisive step in bringing Thailand's competition standards up to international level.

Connecting Thailand to the world

Over the years HAB AWARDS has built partnerships with specialists from a number of countries:
